Noodler's Stockholm Indigo Nk (Sweden) Exclusive From 2010?

I found a mentioning in the forum about a Sweden exclusiv ink that NK Stockholm was supposed to have ordered from Noodlers somewhere around 2010.

Because I live in Sweden I thought that I might as well call them and see if they still might have some bottles. The answer I get was that they have at least 20 bottles left.

So I asked a friend that were visiting stockholm to buy two bottles for me. The bottles cost 139kr about 20$.

In the end a nice and rather unique colour. That is at least waterproof if not bulletproof.

 

 

P.S. I think that the pictures turned out a little less blue than they are supposed to but I don't really have access to a good scanner right now. I might be able to get a it scanned on a good scanner later.

Looks nice. Noodler's Iraqi Indigo, now called Violet Vote was and is more a violet than what I think of as Indigo.

Your ink looks more Indigo. I like it.

Hard to tell, but it looks like Manhattan Blue. Sure, why not sell it in Sweden under a different name.

From the pictures I can find manhattan blue is a lot bluer than this and stockholm indigo is allot more water resistant then manhattan blue.

 

I noticed that I forgot to add a picture of the bottles and when taking the picture I noticed that the ink is apparently classified as forgery resistant and resistant to low temperatures.

This looks to be closer in color to Kung Te Cheng, but with less of a purple cast (and possibly some shading). Not like Manhattan Blue at all; I have both and they're probably my two favorite inks -- KTC is my favorite ink overall (in spite of it's trickiness) and Manhattan Blue just edges out Liberty's Elysium for blue inks (and I have a LOT of blue and blue-black inks).

Do you think it is chalky?

Not at the amount that the after water test picture looks like.

And allot less than Dostoyevsky looks in the goulet picture.

 

Chalky is something that I find hard to get a feeling for but not a feeling I get from this ink.

In the end the colour is not as "sharp" as some other colours but not as dull as something that I would feel is chalky

The true color of this ink is really hard to capture on picture and scan. Closest might be about halfway between the first picture and the second one. The first is too blue and the second not enough blue.

 

 

 

The scan I tried to do wanted the colour to be just blue. So I didn't feel that it was any idea to even include it.
