Shirts With Pen Pockets

I'm very late to this discussion but it strikes home. Must of my shirts are pocketless yet I don't want to carry a pen case and I won't carry anything but a Kaweco sport in my trouser pocket.

 

I invented my own pen pocket. On a whim, I thought maybe some other pen aficionado may like them, too. Have a look and let me know what you think - The Pen Pocket.

You need a pal who can sew. Pop your pen in the shirt pocket make a little mark with a pencil ensuring the pen will easlily go in but loose enough to fall out. Take shirt to said friend and sew a neat line down the pocket using a matching thread that won't shrink i.e. not pure cotton. If your pen is too long and you can just about allow yourself a new shorter one get something like a Kaweco - but do buy the pen before you sew the shirt pocket as they tend to be fatter
