Not quite a pen, but an M800 nib or Platinum 3776 nib for use in a Vac700 may be in the future.

There are several calling my name. The 2 top contenders are:

  1. an OMAS in Arco Bronze finish, either a Milord or an Ogiva Vintage.
  2. a Nakaya . . . [too many models and finishes to name].

If I may presume to advise--I decided on the Ogiva for my Arco rather than the faceted Milord. It has proved to be one of the most beautiful pens I have. The finish is stunning. I'm saving up for a Nakaya as well. We must have good taste! ;)

Rationalizing pen and ink purchases since 1967.

Heh, clearly!

I like the Ogiva shape, and it would give me a matched pair since I already have the Saft Green version. But I also like variety, so that's the argument for a Milord.

Since my Naka-ai arrived I can't decide on what's next. It sort of crashed my list of next in line FP desires. Maybe a wild Scriptorium?

My next pen for X-mas is a modern Conway Stewart 100 in classic green.

I've gotten pulled into the vortex of the Conway Stewart 58 nibs, so I'll probably be looking for another one soon!

And if I can save my pennies long enough...and ....and... I won't say which other ones I have on my list!

Guys! Guys! I got my TWSBI diamond 580! I'm in a hotel right now, so I don't have access to the whole dishsoap-rinse thing, but that will be the first thing I do when I get to my parents' tomorrow morning.

Now . . . which will be my next next fountain pen?

Maybe a vintage Aurora 88. I started out with this one along the same line as the 51s. Didn't care for the look, the hassle of tracking down one in good condition for an acceptable price, etc. It's growing on me, so I may end up picking one up to see what the deal is.

I'm also eying something in either a Pilot or Sailor. I keep bouncing around the nib options, so I need to do more reading.

Thinking of going for a Diplomat Esteem next as Diplomat has been intriguing me for a long time and the Esteem seems like a nice every day pen.

Franklin Christoph 02 Intrinsic with a Mike Bold Italic nib. Also, really wanting a Scriptorium custom job and a Sailor Pro Gear 2.

A few days after Santa has come, I'm quite sure that many of you have received their "next" pen ....Personnaly, I did not but have an eye on a Sheaffer 440 blue seen on ebay......

Even though I am happy with my Noodler's Ahab/G nib modification, I'm going to order a Desiderata pen in a couple days! Wooden writing instruments are delicious to hold! And I am on the hunt for suitable Parker 51 Aero parts to go inside the Ariel Kullock barrel and hood I have sitting on my desk.

My next pen is next no more : I received a M800 with a bent nib from a friend who bought a M1000 instead of fixing the problem ..... I did it myself ....

Do you have a 'before' picture? Just curious.

I knew I should have ..... But so in a hurry to have it back with his original shape ...... :( :( :(

I've been looking at Scriptorium Pens over the last couple days, drooling over Renee's work and looking at pen blanks--likewise drooling over all the options. But I'm thinking that a honey and bee themed pen would like to be made for me.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
