Lamy Neon Coral Safari Ink..

I have one pen inked with Lamy Neon Coral and another with Diamine Flamingo Pink. They seem to be quite similar to me, except the Coral is a little redder.

Despite the subtle colour of the Coral, mentioned previously, the writing performance with the Lamy cartridges (and a broad nib) was so poor that I feared the pen or nib was at fault. Easily solved: ordered a converter and a bottle of Diamine Passion Red and I now have the smooth colourful effect I was after. Although I would call the colour more 'lobster' which rather goes with 'coral' don't you think?

I was going to get the Coral Safari and I still might, but I went for a Metropolitan instead to save money (since I had neither yet).

Great ink - love the coral combo pimped with black nib

It's really hard to photograph tho...I got one from iphone, not good color representation at all!

Sorry to resurrect, but this is pretty much my experience with Lamy Coral. Have a lovely wet B nib on a Safari using Parker, Montblanc and Waterman Inks in a converter.

 

Put a Lamy Coral cartridge in, and the pen becomes a very dry writer. Is the ink quite dry ? Shame as I quite like the colour
