@amberleadavis is one of your F-C pens an Omnis model 31 in Italian Ice?  I have that pen with a B SIG nib by Audrey.

I'm pretty sure that is it.  I think I even have a SIG nib on it.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

My new Franklin-Christoph pen, arrived today, makes a total of five now. It’s the model 66 Stabilis.

I got a 1.1mm CC nib that doesn’t add to the price. They are really nice nibs. I did get a B SIG nib on an Omnis model 31 a few years ago. Another Omnis has a Masuyama B cursive italic nib, and I got a model 45L with the current Nagahara B cursive italic nib.  You can see my favorite nibs are stub and italic nibs. 🙂

I sold my first F-C years ago (still regretting it a bit), and so when this P20 came up for sale, I had to get it for that gorgeous finial.

I received a Model 66 today. It will be used with a Medium cursive italic nib as a desk pen, mostly to write checks.

@dms525 my the Stabilis looks good in that material. I got a model 31 Omnis in that material. Mine is smoke and ice because the top of the cap has the darker smoke material. Otherwise, it looks like your pen.  And your desk looks so neat. I spied a Pilot Prera Iro-Ai in your pen cup. I really like the Prera.

My black Stabilis has a nuclear green section.

He’s not the only one. I see @inkstainedruth posting about the ink she used. I haven’t made that move though.

Yes. In chancery cursive. The comments I get from bank tellers tickles me. Not as much fun as the comments from pharmacists reading my prescriptions, but I'm retired from practice so no more of that entertainment.

The paper used for my checks is just awful, but a fine, dry nib works fairly well.

I had been thinking for some time about getting a Model 66 Stabilis to use as a desk pen, and this ice is attractive. I have 2 or 3 other F-C pens in this and in antique glass, with various finials and sections. `

The Pilot Prera with a "calligraphy" nib is a super pen. It's one I recommend these days to students wanting to start using italic handwriting.
