Refill To Leak Help

I don't have any Sonnets and could not tell you what solution might work except perhaps doing something similar to what Bruce suggested in another post for 51s: Put a few drops of ink back in the bottle, then turn the pen nib upward and pull the plunger back so as to suck some extra ink out of the feed so it isn't saturated, then cap the pen and store it with the cap up. Like I said, I have no way to test this but you might try it to see if it helps.

I'm beginning to think this may be a problem with the section itself.

 

Ink seems to come from the bottom of the metal ring. Not from the joint between nib and section. I'm also seeing some seeping through at the other end of the section where the plastic part meets the metal.

 

Can the section be disassembled?
