Best Inks For A Demonstrator?

I love turquoisey blues in my demos. Currently, I have Akkerman Passage Blauw in a Pilot Prera iro-ai and a Noodler's Ahab filled ED-style with Noodler's Navajo Turquoise. I love it when the sun just catches the pen.

LAMY Turquoise is a nice color

Let me show you a happy thing about eel inks.

I was testing KWZI #21 - and let me tell you that I LOVED the ink until it came to time to clean up.

Thanks for sharing the observation. Will try that one day with my Ahab, whose piston turned pink after some ink experimentation (among the inks used the closest to pink was Pelikan Royal Blue, so go figure).

Truly, Noodler's inks un-staining a pen, this was unheard before.

Apache Sunset...very pretty but oh so dry feeling on the nib!

Garden Weasel, that's a beautiful pen!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Generally you need a lighter ink to show color in demonstraters. I like J Herbin Bleu Azure.

It's been suggested often before and I can only confirm: Apache Sunset!

But Rohrer&Klingner Alt-Goldgrün is also rather brilliant in a demonstrator.

And so are KWZ Aztec Gold (IGL) and Diamine Ochre. Not to forget Sailor Jentle Kin-mokusei.
