Here's another newer ink that hasn't got a lot of color samples online yet. It's a nice gray color on the cool end of gray.

 

Good wet flow. Some water resistance. No misbehaving. Dries pretty quick.

 

I've been trying to decide whether to get Albert Einstein ink from Montblanc in a full bottle. I got a sample through some magical series of events, and tried it. I was wanting to see if I would like this one better. Honestly, I like them both. Einstein is a more neutral gray than this one. Sadly, it looks like I'm going to have to get both.

I found that this color really darkens when in a wet writer. I like the ink a lot, and I don't use black ink so that's saying something.

I DO realize that this is a *really* old thread, but I'm wondering if anyone knows if this ink (OS "Arsenic" gray) is an iron-gall ink?  I just snagged a Parker "51" at a flea-market, and it didn't even require anything further than a cleanout and refill.  I'm developing something of an aversion to Noodler's inks; I've had problems with a couple, and have read some reviews that leave me very cautious about putting them in vintage pens; fine for modern stuff, though.

 

So, this being the only bottle I had that wasn't Noodler's or Private Reserve (very heavily dyed and sometimes pigmented), I filled the "51" with the Arsenic gray... only to start wondering a few days later if it might be an iron-gall ink, because the other iron gall ink I DO have has a similar appearance on paper.

 

Any thoughts you may have would be gratefully received... don't want to mess up this nice specimen!
