Who Manufactures Porsche Design Pens

I have heard of Porsche cars and we all know that Porsche manufacture their own cars, but with the Porsche design pens who actually manufactures them and are they manufactured under the license of Porsche,

"Porsche Design" is a design studio owned and run by F A Porsche, which, was founded in 1974. F A Porsche is, as you might expect, is a member of the Porsche family, he designed the 911 car, and also I believe the font used in the Porche logo and literature/ads etc. In essence, I suppose, Porsche Design is an independent design studio with something of a symbiotic relationship with the Porsche cars.

 

The pens are designed by Porsche Design and are currently manufactured by Pelikan. Prior to this they were manufactured by Faber-Castell. Pelikan took over the manufacturing licence from Faber towards the end of 2011. The pen cases are actually manufactured in Spain, however, I can't recall the manufacturer off the top of my head!

Interesting. None of their pen designs have really caught my imagination, but I love the case (mine is used daily). Shame they stopped doing it in brown....
