Tibaldi Modello 50 & 60

It is interesting that you mention staring at them as I find myself doing just that on a very regular basis. Then I find myself picking them up and holding them as these are very tactile pens. ...And then, time seems to have gone by as I slowly return to the real world.

Here are some of those distractions:

Why carry one pen when four will do!

Firstly, these are wonderful quality pictures. I have a couple of these, the Modello 50 in blue/gold (I sold my 60 just didn't work for me as beautifully as the 50); the Iride and the Trasparente. I had an IMpero, but again the nib didn't sing for me.

THey were truly beautiful pens and with the right nib, superb.

Slight thread resurrection but I love my Tibaldi pens:

A few other italians:

Mmm, beautiful, thank you for another photo :) I would love to know where we can find Tibaldi, or if they're mostly only available at pen shows.

The Modelo 50 & 60, Imperio, Transparente and Iride were all made in the 1990's and discontinued long ago. They occassionally show up for sale at pens shows, on ebay, in the FPN classifieds, etc..

Tibaldi are still in business and producing pens; however, their newer wares are in a different style from the pens discussed here.
