OK, I am a little confused, let me recap. Tandaina likes prettier, smaller, lighter, lovely SOFT old nibs that make things just POP. But she doesn't want any grey. She also says you don't want to knock those old nibs, they have lots of tricks up their feed... Her Ecclesiastical Authority would just laugh a lot, especially after a few Scotches.

Amberlea prefers YOUNG and STIFF; a little grey doesn't bother her at all. She wants it to have a spell-checker and be wearing Paco Rabanne. Amberlea also thinks that she and Tandaina "gotta go out and get some more experience!"

Lapis, who started this topic, is so confused that he is being driven to drink. (Which will probably make things "smaller and softer".)

I do have a question for Amberlea, where do you propose that you and Tandaina go to "get some more experience"?

A pen store? Might I suggest Dromgole's in Houston. 185 miles from Waco. Would you two pick up some Noodler's Texas Bluebonnet for me while you're there. While you're at it, send one to Lapis, too, he probably needs one, and a bottle or two of Paco Rabanne. Maybe even get a bottle of Texas Pecan to compare with Edelstein Amber.

Frank - I think you got most of it, but Lapis wasn't confused so much as he was suggesting threesomes.... and I agree, we can only get real experience at a store like Dromgoole's where fondling is legal.

Sorry, I just couldn't resist...

Actually a silly cartoon at this time of the year... Here's a guy hauling a bunch of Easter eggs, and I was expecting a pile of ink bottles...

Well, it's a change from the snow we've had. As I said to 'she who must be obeyed' earlier "It looks like reindeer."

Excellent! That sounds like " 's no, dear" because everything here has been covered with snow for weeks, only to be topped off with a brand new coating today. Ughh!!!

So, now wouldn't be a great time to mention that I went for a drive in my buddy's convertible 'vette with the top down, wearing sunglasses, shorts and a tank top?

No, it wouldn't be a great time to mention that. Otherwise, I might be forced to move to Vegas. (But I can tell ya that I'd bring all of my inks with me...)

Naughty ... Naughty...

That's not me in the picture. In 1988, I had better legs even if I am still much shorter than the model.

And in 1988, the 'Vette would have been much different...

But the location is still there. I remember that place, actually. Somewhere between L. A. and Vegas.

I had a 1988 Corvette and her legs look just fine. I also like her umbilical jewelry. Nothing says easy like visible umbilical jewelry. Her legs have a certain Amber hue that reminds me of Edelstein Amber ink.

You confuse me. Are you talking about the Corvette?

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
