I have a sheaffer 300 SGC Glossy Blue barrel with a medium nib. I have no major complaints about this pen it writes very well. Pen is also a bit heavy with the cap on but it has a sturdy clip which is a good feature for me.

My question is : Can the nib be replaced with a fine or extra fine nib?

My second question : Where can I get the fine nib?

PS: I live in Australia!

The standard medium nib is quite thick. It is a very smooth pen and has lots of ink flow. However I cannot write the subscripts on equations without over-sizing my handwriting. :gaah:

Thanks for your help. I bought my pen from Meyer. They don't have this fine nib unfortunately.

Can anyone from Australia help me locate a suitable company that might have this in stock? :happyberet:
