I've done a hand written review for this pen, as I feel the flex justifies it! Sorry about the bad handwriting

Thanks for showing us your gorgeous pen and giving us the opportunity to see how it writes. The Caran d'Ache Amazon is a very pretty color also.

Oh, I am very jealous! What a lovely pen! Thanks for the review, that is just too nifty.

Isn't sanity really a one-trick pony, anyway? I mean, all you get is one trick, rational thinking! But when you're good and crazy . . . ooh hoo hoo hoo! . . . the sky's the limit!

Nice to see someone else appreciates these pens! Mine is very similar, but has the more common no. 2 Fine nib, which is also nice and flexy. I'd love to find a Swan with a broader flexible nib like yours.

I think the pen is later than the 1920s as celluloid only became common in the 1930s. I believe mine is just postwar, late '40s.

Enjoy your pen ... Swans are very addictive!

Now, now, folks do not be telling everyone about these delightful pens. I've been trying to keep them a secret for years!!!

Swan pens are greatly underated and as you can see from the review by Glaedr they do have fabulous nibs; and that's not all ..............

It's a stunning pen, and I appreciate your handwritten assessment--it gives impact and veracity to what you say. That must be some nib and I'm green as your pen with jealousy!

Thanks for sharing it with us--

PS--my handwriting should always look as good!
