Hello. I just purchased a bottle of Waterman Serenity blue ink. I was told that they changed the name from Florida blue to Serenity Blue. Is this true or is it vice versa and Florida blue is the new one ??

WM named all their old inks with lame new names.

At least the new Florida Blue lets me have the rendition of about 100% of people seeing the bottle and immediately breaking out in their best version of "serenity now."

I still call it Florida Blue. Like others have said Serenity Blue is the new name. Just doesn't have the same ring to it.

I refuse to refer to Waterman inks by their new names. Not only do they sound lame, but Intense Black isn't even an accurate depiction of Waterman Black. South Sea Blue is a million times more pleasant and accurate than Inspired Blue. The only thing mysterious about Mysterious Blue is that it fades to teal; it isn't even a mystery anymore.

Hilariously enough, Wateman's website is also still calling the inks by their old names: clicky!
