My Updated Collection Of Pen & Inks

PAC 1957

Recommended Posts

Hi,

in the last couple of months I've been integrating and maintaining my fp collection, sending some of the older ones for repair, selecting and buying a few new pens, several new inks, etc. Here is the final result ( the year relates to when I bought or received the pens). As You can see, most of them are quite old ( I started collecting pens in the 70s....)but also thanks to my 2 favourite very good pen shops in Rome-Italy, repairs, when needed (Parker 51, Waterman C/F, old Aurora 88 nib problems, Parker 75 spare parts, Omas 360 white leaking problem, etc) proved to be very effective. As You can see, most of my new inks are Pilot Iroshizuku, which in my opinion provided me with a much better writing experience in most cases especially in terms of flow ,saturation and fast dry time, besides the beauty and, sometimes, the uniqueness of their colours. Other very good inks in my selection are the 3 Caran D'Ache, Stipula Musk Green and Diamine Sargasso Sea, the Pelikan Edelstein Topaz and highlighter ink and the Montblanc Irish Green.

Unfortunately I cannot post pictures, I ran out of FPN attachment space (classic mistake of a newcomer to FPN - only since late Sept 2012). I'm figuring out alternative solutions to post pictures, as already suggested by other very helpful and experinced FPN members.

Thankyou very much for Your attention.

(A flickr account is super easy and will give you links to the photos in the FPN posting format. Way more space for pictures.) Cause frankly I want to SEE that collection. ;)

Yes! Post your images to a image-sharing website such as Picasa Web, flickr, or imgur. Then, copy and paste the image URL into the "insert image" button, two buttons to the right of the emoticon button on an FPN post. After the image URL is pasted, the image should show up in the post.
