A Waterman's 0952 1/2v wet noodle that flexes from XF-BB, BCHR is 99 %, no markings, no oxidation, imprints are crisp, overall Near-Mint condition.

How much is it worth?

Sorry but no photos at this moment.

Thankyou.

Tom.

Its probably worth a lot, $300 wouldnt seem unreasonable, but the question is whether or not you can get it to sell, for that much at least. If my waterman ID serves me correctly, its a gold filled short and thin, which people arent really into.

just my $.02

If you find someone who will buy for the flex quality of the nib, then perhaps $150 - $200. Pictures of the pen and of the writing produced by it will help. Nib flexibility is somewhat subjective. An ideal wet noodle, for me at least, cannot write in certain positions, such as crossing a "t" or the downward stroke on a "y", without flexing. Other pens can achieve the same flex, but with more effort. To get top $$$, the key will be to convince pen folks that you have a no effort flex nib. :hmm1:

For people out there who want this type of thing and don't have $$$, then buy different early hard rubber Watermans for $20-$60 on ebay or attend a pen show. I have the desirable type of wet noodle and never paid extra for the nib. It's trial and error to get the perfect one.

Yeah, I wouldn't pay $200 USD for a BCHR even in perfect condition with a wet noodle. $150 is tops and I'll expect photos and a writing sample, and the box would help.

As Kernando said it's short and skinny. BTW, an 09xx pen has a gold filled top to the cap only, the rest of the cap and barrel are BCHR.

But it's not a red ripple 52. And people aren't into short and skinny.

I think what GClef has in mind is the pen listed in the first post of this thread. Sometimes the stars align to create The Perfect Storm.

And, in regards to it, Kernando has a Very Good point too.

Yeah, it's a bidding war or someone drove up the price for some reason, that's not what it's worth.
