How can I remove an st dupont classique nib from its section? I bought one that has

a nib width that is too thick. The shopkeeper allowed me to change mind, but the fine nib has a leaking section.

Thus, I want to remove the mind and swap them.

Grab your pen:

Firmly hold the nib and feed with your index and thumb with your other hand:

Then pull the barrel horizontaly, (don't apply any bending torque!) while still firmly holding the nib and the feed:

Alternatively, still without applying any bending torque, if the feed and nib won't come out easily, make an unscrewing movement the section.

Until success !

And the feed :

Check the two lines are present and undamaged (this is a source of leakage) and that the nib is properly positionned (there is a blocker at a third of the distance from the left, corresponding to a small gap on the picture). You might want to clean the feed with an old toothbrush, under the tap or in the sink, but just with water.
