Diamine Asa Blue Written Review

Here's my written review of Diamine's Asa Blue. I was quite pleased with the ink, definitely a candidate for an everyday ink, great bright blue colour with really good properties. A note about the dry smear, I actually didn't notice that I had some water on my finger when I smeared that, so it's not representative, it won't smear after drying with a dry finger.

 

 

Here's the water test results. I wrote on a small Rhodia pad and ran it under water for a few seconds after letting the ink dry for a couple minutes.

 

 

All in all a great ink that I'd recommend to anyone looking for a good, bright blue ink.

Thanks for the review. I have Diamine Florida Blue, Royal Blue and Majestic Blue. Nice to see the comparisons although I think I am well covered at this point!
