J. Herbin Bouquet D'antan

Here's my review of J. Herbin's Bouquet d'Antan. It's a good ink that's middle of the road in terms of usability. The only reason I still like it is because the color of the ink is just that soft and attractive. The color of this scan seems to be shifted a bit to violet.

Nice review. Thanks for showing us this otherwise IMO somewhat neglected jewel. Very well-behaved as usual for Herbins. Slight "wateryness" is no problem. I also find the pink to be a nice "softness", as you have put it. But my lot has a bit less purple and a hint more brown. Still, a great ink.

Thanks for this review. I love J. Herbin ink but I've not seen much mention of this one. Looks like a nice one to try.

Thats some serious shading for sure. I may just have to get a sample of that for the Ahab and see how it does in my hands
