Sailor 1911 or Pilot Custom 823?

I have an 823 M and love it.

I was wondering how the sailor nibs compare in terms of softness. The pilot nib just has a hint of spring which is very nice.

Sailor nibs (21k) are nails. There is a bit or sprinf in a KOP nib but that is due to sheer size. If you like spring the size 15 14k Pilots are your nib.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Thanks. Confirms what I have read. Next pen will be a pilot with a soft nib.

Yes, this fact is true, but I for one was contemplating this very decision earlier this year, and found the thread usefull.
