Visconti Homo Sapiens Steel Midi

A bit tardy on this, but thank you very much for the review. Merely to assuage myself before I get one, I am going to ask: you did not happen to experience what others used to about the section sweating ink, did you?

Not the OP, but I have had the Midi for about 3 months now and I've had no sweating of ink. What I would say is that it's important to clean the section well after filling with ink.

Thank you so much for answering. This is the only concern that has been keeping me from purchasing one.

This line of pens makes me proud that I'm a Homo sapiens. My steel age goes with me everywhere. Some don't like the "grabby" clip, but it is second nature for me to raise the clip before securing it in the pocket of my Columbia shirt pocket.

I really like mine, has a 0.5 cursive italic nib done by Deb Kinney (who I also bought it from) - she did a great job.

All right, now you have me salivating for a photo. I was planning on a 0.7CI for mine. Is there any chance of you posting a writing sample, Sir?

OP here, no issues at all, what you mention was a problem with earlier models over a year ago.

Awesome review. I especially love the pics with it on the chipping paint windowsill. Looks perfectly natural there.

Thanks!

I agree, the pen really matches it's surroundings.

I have been on the fense when it comes to Visconti. Is the surface rough enough to collect dry skin flakes? As it is in winder now, my hands get dry and lose natural oil.
