Is there anywhere to buy this in London or Paris? I'll be traveling to Europe in September and would love to bring a bottle or two home!

As far as I can make out this can only be purchased in Holland.

Maybe if you go to the thread "Calling all Londoners" in the events thing, you could ask if someone will bring what you want across - as in, you order and pay but have it shipped to one of the Londoners?

I am unfortunately a long way from London otherwise I would have done it for you, but give it a try.

YAY! YAY! YAY!

The second box arrived today! :bunny01: :bunny01: :bunny01: The remainder of my day will be spent packaging bottles of ink.

I will send out PMs to verify ship date, but the plan is to take everything to the post office on Monday so that I only have to make one trip. For those local to me, we can set up a time to meet next week!

Thank you all very much for your patience!

As a result of wondering why there was no one offering Akkermans for sale in the US, I contacted Paul Rutte of Akkermans to find out. It is only sold in their store. At least they are willing to ship it to us by the case! :)

Great to hear the other box arrived...

Man I missed the boat on this one.

BeachBum... That was really awesome of you to do this.... And if you do it again I would imagine your going to get swamped with people who want in.

:bunny01: :bunny01: :bunny01: indeed! Wonderful to hear this! Thank you for keeping us updated, Bob. Hey, and where are those pictures of you surrounded by inky goodness that you were going to show us?? :P Probably too late now since the bottles are almost all packed up; that's OK, we will all soon have our own bottles of inky goodness to admire.

Once again, thank you so much for taking on this project for the rest of us; the missing box of inks must have added a great deal to the stress for you, but it has all come out well in the end.

Fantastic! That box must have gotten on a slow boat from China! LOL

I'm so glad to hear it has arrived. I saw the photo you posted in the "Ink Porn" topic. What a lovely stack of ink.

I'm very appriciative of the work you have done to accomplish this "mission." You've made a lot of very fortunate people very, very happy. Your time and effort have and will not go unnoticed.

I sure hope everyone is planning to do an ink review!

If there's another group order, count me in. And great to see the shop. Where is it?

What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about?

They are located in The Hague, Netherlands.

I am considering a round 2 for those who missed out on this one. But, I have to wait at least a few days after all these go out the door so my wife doesn't stop thinking, and start knowing, that I am a nut. :roflmho:

Please count me in on the next one. I already have some ink, but really want just one more. Just can't justify the shipping for one bottle.

My bottle of ink arrived yesterday - very fast shipment, sent out on Monday and delivered Wednesday! I haven't tried the ink as yet but the beautiful bottle sits on my desk where I can admire it. :D :cloud9:

Once again, thank you, thank you, thank you Bob. :notworthy1:

I'm also in if there's a round two! There are at least 6 people interested already.

Glad to hear the packages are starting to hit desks around North America! Enjoy!

FYI folks, I have the numbers on the shipping, and I hope to get it out to each of you soon. Where I have e-mail addresses, I will send it that way, otherwise it will be via PM. Thanks for your patience with me.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
