No others will work as far as I know. If you hurry Rene Alvaraz at Mr. Rene's Pens in the Marketplace forum here has some slim cartridges for sale.

I have a bunch of Sheaffer slim cartridges and listed them on the Marketplace a while back. Would like to find good homes for them so would sell at a modest price plus postage.

One problem with older cartridges is that the ink has somehow dried out. You can take an old cartridge and either refill it (or re-hydrate with distilled water) using an eyedropper. I don't know how many times an old cartridge can be refilled but would think several times before they start leaking.

Like you, I use almost exclusively bottles for ink but it's handy to have cartridges when traveling and you don't want to transport a bottle of ink.

Hi, Brownieeee

I just purchased a pen from you on ebay...a sentinel set.

I have an older shaeffer slim pen which I love, but am down to my last few boxes of cartridges. I used to have a converter for it but misplaced years ago. I cannot find anyone that lists a slimline converter (what my office supply folks used to call a type II cartridge). But if I do find aanyone in my searches, I will post the info here.

I did a quick search and did not locate my earlier post in the Marketplace. I have a few cartridges for slim Sheaffer Targa pens (Sheaffer Skrip slim cartridge II). Please check the Marketplace for further information.

Sam, the owner of Pendemonium, has indicated that the small Monteverde converter will fit these slim pens well (I have a TRZ, not as nice as a Targa but I like it). I believe that they're listed and described in the "Ink and Refills" section under Monteverde at the store's web site. I purchased some slim cartiridges from DRP (thanks!) and I'm very happy with them--I refill them from a bottle with a syringe--but also plan to get the converter with my next order from Pendemonium, as my slim converter that came with the TRZ now leaks. :(
