I love the colour and saturating of this ink, although there is some bleedthrough on cheap paper and some noticeable feathering

Thanks for reviving this thread NathanGrimaud. I totally forgot that I had this ink. Re-reading my review I decided to dig it up and throw it out.

 

So, I dumped the ink down the sink and rinsed out the bottle 10 times with water. Even agitated the water several times. Can't even tell I got rid of the ink! This ink stains glass. No place in my pens.

So Diamine came up with a Bay State Blue subsitute, it even stains like BSB. Just what I wanted :-( Not.

I picked this up looking for a "peacock blue", though it's not quite there. I've only tried it in one pen, my Pilot VP. I don't hate it, but it's got less pop than I expected. Any suggestions for a peacock blue?

OH, I love Sargasso Sea, you didn't think it popped? This ink is super saturated and should give you amazing color.

 

When you say Peacock, are you looking for a purplish blue or a turquoise blue?

I love this blue. I refer to it as my "serious" blue. My "social" blue being BSB.
