I got another Airmail ED yesterday. Not sure which model. Inked it up with Chelpark green, made it a little more wet and it writes beautifully.

Just got my first Indian FP today. It's an Airmail 77PD in gray, and I'm absolutely thrilled. It reminds me of my Parker 45, but better. (My P45 has some feed issues that I just can't seem to fix. Also, I really like piston-fillers.)

I bought it from Mayur near the fountain in Fort. I got it last year though. No one seems to sell it anymore.

My Romus came yesterday. It's smaller and slimmer than I expected, but not too small. About the same size as my Airmail 77.

So far it's very consistent, no issues that I've noticed except for the smell, which seems to be getting weaker anyway. Today I'm switching between the Romus and my old Jinhao x450 with a new Noodler's flex nib, both inked with Noodler's Black Swan in Australian Roses. I find it fascinating how different the ink looks between the two pens.

Apart from the Asa Genius and Asa I Can, today I am using a Prasad cigarshape I bought from fellow FPN member indfpens. I bought two Prasads, one this cigar shape and the other a smaller, slender flattop with a slightly tapering cap. The interesting thing is indfpens provides these pens with a modified nib - mine are Fine stubs, and very nice wirters because of that.

I just got a FPR Guru with a flex nib in the mail today and I am smitten. I can't stop writing with it.

I'm trying to run out the last few drops of Black Swan in Australian Roses in the Romus Majestic so I can put some R&K Salix in it. The pen smelled pretty funky when I got it, but it's starting to take on a more pleasant, almost fruity smell like my Airmail 77. I can't say I mind. ;) It wasn't terrible, but it was noticeable.

Speaking of which, my Airmail ran dry this weekend, so I've just about gone through my first fill of my first two Indian pens. All I can say is, I want more Indian pens!

Guider Onyx v.2 - first production model! with a Schmidt F chrome plated nib and Schmidt converter that somehow holds a lot of ink... Filled with KWZI IG Blue Black for a fabulous combination.

Asapens Genius with F nib (stock) and filled with Diamine Majestic Blue. This one's an eyedropper-filled pen.

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

There is still chemistry for processing regular chrome (positive) films like Kodak Ektachrome and Fuji Velvia, but Kodachrome was a completely different and multistep beast.
    • Ceilidh
Ah, but how to get it processed - that is the question. I believe that the last machine able to run K-14 (Kodachrome processing) ceased to operate some 15 or so years ago. Perhaps the film will be worth something as a curiosity in my estate sale when I die. 😺

Take a lot of photos!   If the film has deteriorated or 'gone off' in any way, you can use that as a 'feature' to take 'arty' pictures - whether of landmarks, or people, or whatever.
