I just wanted to point out that my wallet says that you are all very bad people. I just ordered more pens... :yikes:

Deccan Advocate junior, Kim Olive flattop, Oliver Matrix (transparent barrel tank). All filled with a version of my current inky obsession: to find the perfect blue.

It would be easier if what constitutes the perfect blue ink didn't change from day to day... Oh and I'm also using my Gama Eyas, with Noodler's Starry Night special edition. A blue so dark it looks black.

Today's pen is an Airmail 44 with a Waterman Ideal nib (from a broken Crusader).

Glad to see you are using the nib. How does it write in the Airmail pen?

Smooth as silk. I didn't care for the pen with the original nib, although to be fair, for the price, it's a very good value, But that nib makes it into something else entirely.

A Wality with the right nib is heaven. Years back I walked into Deccan pen stores and said I wanted a gold nib for this pen and showed them my Wality, Wasim bhai was at the counter, he smiled and went to the shop's back side and came back with a pen case and one by one showed me their gold nibbed ebonite pens from Brahmam and Leader. I was hooked. My favorites are the model 69T and the 71J

Fountain Pen Revolution Triveni (ebonite), FPR Guru, and FPR Dilli. No sure if the Konrad Ebonite is sourced from India, but I have it on my desk anyway.

The Airmails are interesting looking, as are the Deccans. I don't have an Indian pen, but do any of you use pencils? There is ONE brand of pencil, Nataraj, which I understand are common as grass in India, in a red box with a pencil sharpener. The host of a class I was giving in Delhi years ago put them out on each desk. I took my box of pencils home and they were outstanding. They don't sell them in the US. The lead is smooth as butter. They are as pleasing to use for drawing as the more expensive Faber-Castell I usually use.

Camlin Sd black with waterman purple ink. Inked this pen after about 6 months of receiving it. Probably due to fear of negative reviews i read for it after placing order. But to my delight it turns out to be a great pen with wet fine nib.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
