My Ranga Cruiser (it says Cruiser on the clip) and the Kim "small" black cigar, which is actually larger than many of my regular sized pens. Both ED, and the Kim has an impressive amount of ink (currently Montblanc Mystery Black) in the barrel, so it will be a while...

I'm also using the two Wality 52s off and on; both are piston fillers, and one has the etched cap. Great pens both.

Was using The Oliver Exam Clear with Chelpark Chrimson violet. Love the combination, It just looks beautiful, will post pictures some other day. Also was using a Realto Corona with Chelpark blue, a pen i really love to use, partly because of its medium nib, something pretty rare as a stock on Indian pens as far as I know. :)

Hey all new guy here.

I recently rediscovered my fountain pens after a divorce and several address changes (located the box). FPR fascinates me!

I'm totally envious of Kevin for taking the initiative and rolling the dice like he has. He's got sand.

Today I'm using a Serwex 101 ($5.00USD!) loaded up with Waterman's Encre Bleu. It's a blue-collar day.

Ciao!

Tom O.

Great pictures, and some intriguing pens! I have some of them (Camlin Cute, Oliver Exam) but most I've just seen pictures of, or not even that, so these are very welcome!

Today, my pens are Kim black cigar, Ranga Cruiser, Guider Ebonite and its twin the Acrylic.

Even i was unaware of these pens until recently when i found a shop which had these lying in the dust. More pictures in the next rotation. :)

I'm going to ink up my new Gama Supreme that I picked up from Mr. Pratap last evening. Looking forward to the writing experience.

Using my Gama medium brown. Shaping up to be another favorite.

Also my custom made Fosfor Islander, by fellow member manojd. A beautiful wooden pen.

A Guider "Twins" -- officially known as a Guider Double-pen, a new ebonite eyedropper which has two nib and two reservoirs, one at each end of the pen. Below is a pretty poor photo, and I've posted a review in the reviews forum.

Where can we get Bril Turquoise Blue?

I picked up my bottle from Taj Pens, Mylapore in Chennai last week.

Bril is pretty much common in Chennai from what I have seen. I had not been able to get any Bril in Pune.

Cheers!

Thanks for the reply, yes, Bril is a widely available brand in south, but, at most areas, it is available only in Blue, Black, Red and Green

It is also available in Star Stationery, Station Road, West Mambalam (Old City Stationeries), Chennai. Yesterday I bought Pelikan T.Blue from them, 62.5 ML 125 Rs.

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

There is still chemistry for processing regular chrome (positive) films like Kodak Ektachrome and Fuji Velvia, but Kodachrome was a completely different and multistep beast.
    • Ceilidh
Ah, but how to get it processed - that is the question. I believe that the last machine able to run K-14 (Kodachrome processing) ceased to operate some 15 or so years ago. Perhaps the film will be worth something as a curiosity in my estate sale when I die. 😺

Take a lot of photos!   If the film has deteriorated or 'gone off' in any way, you can use that as a 'feature' to take 'arty' pictures - whether of landmarks, or people, or whatever.
