Visconti Purple

My word, it looks like they sent a totally different color to the US! ....

Well, to go all the way, you could order a bottle from Rolf or elsewhere here in the old country and make a real check. No, I don't work for him, but purple is my favourite colour (I think) -- and I love comparing everthing -- and I don't think that Visconti in Italy or anywhwere else would ever cough out that there are more than one of their purples out among us.

I like the color a lot. It's bot overly saturated, but I don't see why everything has to be. And I believe in this case it's still a gorgeous ink and flows well, just not the same color, interestingly enough we've only seen in one scan. It's interesting. With all the boxed sets out there no one else has ever reproduced the one scan. No I'm not casting doubt, he got the results he got, but we have all the universe of people who have the new separate color and no one has ever come forward to say I too have and old bottle and here's the results. Until that time, more than one scan and one bottle, I think it more fair to withhold judgment on Visconti. Again, no doubt on the original scan, just seems to me, a lot of things humidity how long it was in the box on and on, as well as settings, could have made that the anomaly and bluntly it's a universe of 1 compared to all those who have tried and commented on the new.
