Has anyone ever heard of an Adler brand fountain pen ??

What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about?

Earlier this year there was a topic about Osmia 648 in this same forum

During the post exchanges I showed an image (it should be there) of a German Adler (Max Adler & Co, Berlin) and some of the replies gave good information.

It is a pen manufactured by Osmia.

Regards

This one is made in the USA. I'm sure it's the Adler Pen and Pencil Company.

I know this thread is several years old, but I just joined the forum over the weekend and stumbled across this post.

Adler Pen & Pencil Co. was founded in New York in 1933 by my great-grandfather, Harry Adler. According to my uncle, who took over the business, the name "Adler" was never put on any of the pens from the company. He was a "middle man" and would import and craft the pens for his clients with their company names on them. If you ever find a pen with the name "Adler" on it made in the USA, it is actually from the European pen company and not really from the USA. So, if your pen says "Adler/USA" on it, it is most likely European in origin and definitely not from the NY-based Adler Pen & Pencil Co. in question

Hope this helps!
