This color drove my white balance crazy, but these are pretty close. The way this ink looks depends a lot on the light you view it in. Absolutely lovely though, MANY thanks to KP for the sample!!!

Oh, that looks nice! I like the subtle pink undertones in the ink (and I'm not one for pink colours!). I love the name of the ink. Makes me want to say it ten times in a row! :P

Beautiful handwriting, as always! And this ink is really nice!

It's not too saturated and quite cherry like... Almost pink as

Ghost Plane has mentioned...

Thanks.

I'm thinking this looks a bit more red in these pictures than it actually is. This ink IS pink... no doubt about that. It's a nice soft pink, with an orangey hint to it.

Well, I've used Diamine's Hope Pink, Coral, and Flamingo pink, and all of them are far too bright/saturated to compare to this one. So, in answer... not to my knowledge.

This ink will look much softer in a drier pen (the one I used was super wet, obviously)... and in mine, it looked much more intense wet than it did when it dried. Like I alluded to, I don't think it is quite soft enough to be a full-on "cherry blossom" pink, but it isn't quite intense or orange enough to be what I would consider a "watermelon" pink either.

Thank you :) I have Hope Pink but think it's much too bright. I love how subdued it looks; the shade of pink is just right.

Shalen, thanks for doing that. Isn't it amazing how hard it is to get shades of red to appear correctly in photo's? I had the same thing with those 6 MB reds I did, but for some reason the scanner did a better job than any of the settings I could find on my Canon PowerShot.SX110. Beautiful penmanship

With the new FPN rules, now I REALLY don't know what to put in my signature.

Thank you for your pretty review! I did a review of this ink too, and mine came out lighter than yours. Now it makes me wonder what it would look like if I used a broad (!) nib like you. The effect is stunning. You are so right about this ink looking different with different lighting - and I would have to say: in different nibs. I think this pink would be somewhat pale in a fine nib, but I have only tried it out with a wet medium nib so far.

OOOH! Lovely! What a mouth-watering color :puddle:

I just got a confirmation from Pen Gallery that they will be stocking up Kosumosu by next week. Yipppeee! Can't wait to try out this ink myself :P
