Looking For Notepad W Perforated Pages

1drv

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for pocket sized notepads (3 in x 5 in, or about 89 mm x 127 mm) that have all pages with perforations for easy removal. Lined or graph paper would be fine. Soft cover would be perfect. I have a couple of Moleskine Volant (I believe) notepads which are almost perfect but only the last 16 pages are perforated. I'd like them all to be perforated.

If anyone knows of such a thing and where to purchase it online, I would greatly appreciate it.

Two links to Rhodia and Clairefontaine top-perforated notebooks (looks like there are a few sizes with each brand that come close to what you want). Really wonderful paper. And, the Goulets are a joy to buy from- some of the best service you'll ever have.

Cheers,

Dan

Or, there's this pad from Rhodia: http://www.gouletpens.com/Rhodia_No_12_Premium_Lined_Black_p/r122012.htm

It's a just a little more expensive and has 10 less sheets than the normal rhodia top-staple pads, but comes with better paper (90g instead of 80g), it's ivory colored instead of extra white, and has a nicer cover. I have one of these in a larger size, and love it.

Rhodia, though relatively expensive, is great FP friendly paper.

I use a Bloc Rhodia No.13 "TRAVERS" (4.1" X 5.8") 80 lined sheets , perforated on the top.

If this is too big, you may want to find the smaller No. 12 (3.3" X 4.7").

I buy mine at a stationary & pen store in Toronto: Laywine's. (no affiliation, just a happy repeat customer)

They ship most things to me by mail.

I really like the Rhodia pads for use with fountain pens. Got my last order from Goulet's - excellent service.

From what I can see of Goulet's top-stapled, perforated Rhodia pad selection, I'd go with them.

Great quality pads & good people.

Quattro pads from RefillMonster. Bjor ships out of Carmel, California. Several 3 x5 styles and other smaller sizes. See recent comments about him in the FPN Marketplace sub forum. If you'd like a bit smaller pad, jetpens has a 74 mm x 107 mm squared pad refill , 5 mm squares, for zeitVektor cover. I use the pads w/o the cover, just drop one in my shirt pocket for daily use. # on pad is ZVP183, but I'm not sure if that's the jetpens catalogue #. Usual Disclaimer applies, Jim

Hmm, some good suggestions. I forgot to add that I prefer a side opening pad rather than top opening as the little Rhodias are.

I did run across this Rhodia which seems to fit the bill. Has anyone used one of these? Would you recommend it?

I could be wrong, but these booklets may not have pages perforated for easy removal.

Their top-stapled pad styles are designed for page removal.

But, if it's Rhodia, it gets my thumbs-up.

Ecosystem pocket notebooks have perforated pages and are fp friendly. I get mine at the local Barnes & Noble and usually use a coupon to bring the price down even further.

The specs specifically says "Perforation: Yes" so I'm assuming that means each page is perforated.

I guess it's fairly new. My local stationer didn't have it in stock. He said he's placing a Rhodia order soon and added the "Unlimited Notebook" to his order. He should have it in a few weeks so I guess I'll know then!

In the mean time, if anyone has gotten their hands on one, please let us all know about it.

"pen2paper", I didn't know that.

How does it work?

Since it's re: a business, I'd be happy with a PM.

Thanks.

Istvan

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
