I have this box. I do not know whether it is original and how old it is. Looks 10-20 years. Has anyone seen similar?

Yes it is a Parker original. It was sold as an accessory item for the modern Parker Duofold pens, probably of the 1980-2000 era. This item included an ink bottle.

Very nice Parker box! Interestngly, I have an almost identifcal box made by Levenger and sold through their catalog many years ago--identical in every detail except the Levenger box has a more standard type of hinge. I received it as a gift and it has the name Levenger imprinted into the bottom. I'll bet Levenger modeled their design on that Parker box. It's a very handy, practical and attractive pen holder. Enjoy!.

Thanks for the answers. I bought the box from a local auction for about $ 6 with postage included. I have a lot Parker Duofold pen's and this box is a good addition to them. I have to clean it up and I find this ink - the parker penman ink bottle. :happyberet:

I have had this from new and it is immaculate condition. I also have 5 bottles of penman ink four still in their original boxes and one empty blue sapphire bottle.

I know this is an old thread but I couldn't find anywhere else that mentions wooden Parker pen boxes. Thought I'll add a photo of mine here. I'm trying to date mine, too. This came with a set of flighter mechanical pencils.

I've never seen one of these ANYWHERE.  Of course, I may have missed this thread before now.

I do have boxes for some of the pens I've gotten, but never as nice as this desk set one.

I'll let you in on a secret. I was more than happy when my wife brought that home.

I am at a critical junction....I have space for two more narrow inkwell set in my library den.

That Lansky sharpening set can go to a flea market....after I sharpen a pair of scissors, in I still mostly use an Arkansas stone.

If I move the watch case and Cochran's Law Lexicon**, there is even more space!!!:bunny01:

Wow, looking hard, I have space for three more narrow as that Parker inkwell sets!!!:D.................................:crybaby:and no more.

** If you write you end up with lots of 'odd' books....It was out laying flat on the shelf, in case I should need it, I'd not have to go hunting for it.

I have a couple of these plus s "Parker Club" box. They are finished really nicely.  One came with an almost full bottle of penman emerald.

I will grab a photo when I can.

The light coloured one looks like cedar. The dark ones i have no idea on the wood type.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
