Yes. Not refillable per se. I guess if you were familiar with sewing a book, you could reuse the leather cover. I'm actually considering doing that when I finish the current pages.

I have this same book in two sizes. I really like the book. It's like having four separate books in one. It takes fountain pen ink like a dream. There's some texture to the paper. (Watermarked: Lucky Parchment) But I quite like it.

I couldn't quite deal with the leather cord and having to wrap it around so many times, so I made an alteration :-)

I have the larger one and was curious if the paper in yours had a watermark? Mine also came with 2 removable sheets of paper and 2 sheets of a more transparent sheet, did you have those too? How did you know it was Amalfi paper?

HI - Yes, I have all of those things and features you mentioned. In fact, I use the loose sheets as a page marker.

Amalfi paper...hmm. I think I saw it was Almafi on the barcode sticker on the package. I don't have the original packaging. So I hope I'm remembering that correctly.

edited to say: I am NOT remembering that correctly as the watermark says "Lucky Parchment". Thank you Myyrkezaan for helping me take a closer look inside my journal!

My pages have 'CPM Parchment' on them, do yours?

Wow! I never noticed the extent of the watermark until just now...holding up to light and flipping pages... Mine says Lucky Parchment.

I bought mine a couple of months ago, I checked the others there and they all were CPM Parchment. Don't know if they have totally switched paper or they use several different suppliers.

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

There is still chemistry for processing regular chrome (positive) films like Kodak Ektachrome and Fuji Velvia, but Kodachrome was a completely different and multistep beast.
    • Ceilidh
Ah, but how to get it processed - that is the question. I believe that the last machine able to run K-14 (Kodachrome processing) ceased to operate some 15 or so years ago. Perhaps the film will be worth something as a curiosity in my estate sale when I die. 😺

Take a lot of photos!   If the film has deteriorated or 'gone off' in any way, you can use that as a 'feature' to take 'arty' pictures - whether of landmarks, or people, or whatever.
