Here is a neat little devise I've been using lately to snip my latex pens sac , especilly those for Vacumatics

 

Once I got the hang of it, it cuts them quickly and squarely.

Well done! Er...What exactly is that jim-dandy tool? Looks to be some sort of paper cutter. Or is it something you designed and manufactured yourself?

Way back when I used reel-to-reel tape, I remember a cutting block for splicing tape. I wonder if that could also be used too. :hmm1:

Oh, that takes me back. Those old style paper cutters were nasty pieces of work, not the weedy small circular blade type you get now. It's akin to a very heavy, sharp jungle knife on a hinge. My primary school teacher once left hers on the roof of her car, realised in the middle of teaching and ran out to get it before some ne'er do well got ahold of it.

Needless to say you only want to cut the sac not the tip of your finger.
