I hope I can get some from the Goulet pen co., but if not, it's nice to have options.

A store local to my work is supposed to have it early next week. They do sell online, so if it turns out to be true, I'll pass on their information. (after acquiring my bottle of course!!)

Yes, it's plastic and it's inserted in a second plastic container/box for stability, I guess, because it's rather prone to tipping. The bottle has an odd design that was meant to aid filling pens when the ink level gets low, but it's just too light to stand unsupported or without a steadying hand. So I guess you'd need 3 hands to fill almost any pen. If the bottle were glass, as it used to be, the sheer weight of the bottle would have stabilized it. I use Visconti Blue. Great color, irksome bottle-container set-up.

You could use some Blu-Tack and secure firmly the bottle to your desk. I do that and there are no possibilities for uncomfortable accidents! Blu-Tack comes off easily, its reusable and leaves no stain on the surfaces.

I have been asking. Rachel indicated they were thinking it "may be the time" to start with Visconti inks. If not, I'll find it. Somewhere. Sometime! :puddle:

My bottle is already on its way from Bryant Greer at Pentime.com

Just email him. It's not listed on the site.

:bunny01:

After my order by phone ( 520.891.8567) he has 3 bottles left, but more on the way. He is leaving in 10 mins to go get setup for the LA Pen show Feb 17-19. So, may not reach them in time.

Thanks for the tip and winning the race, Tortoise.

With the new FPN rules, now I REALLY don't know what to put in my signature.

I really hope so. Not so much for the purple as the blue, for me.

Bryant knew I had been wanting a bottle ever since it was announced, and so he let me know when he had it in stock. Great guy!

My bottle arrived today, and I am just totally blown away with how gorgeous this ink is. I inked up a Stipula Suprema Pelago with a 1.1 stub nib and tried it out on both Rhodia and Staples bagasse paper. Beautiful color, shading, and ultra-smooth, too. Love it! :cloud9:

I also got mine yesterday from Bryant. Thanks so much for the note about this new ink. It is a luscious purple that you expect a grape smell and want to lick it off the paper. It's hard to capture the actual color of some colors. This is the best I can get with this pen.

Is there anyone else selling it yet other than Bry?

Ummmm....as previously posted back up in the thread somewhere....

cultpens.com

bertramsinkwell.com

penboutique.com

pentime.com

And anywhere else that sells Visconti inks.

But you may have to call/email them as it is probably not on their web-sites yet....Wasn't due to debut until this week. bunny01.gif

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
