Yes it certainly is 'bright'! Far too much for me though and not very restful over long periods, I'd guess. I need something darker and their Green-Black is the only green I'd contemplate using now.

It looks much lighter in the scan than in real life to me. I think it's more 'neon' in person but not too much for the eyes at all. One of my favourite inks.

By the way, the scan is upside down when I open the pdf. I'm glad I managed to flip it the right way!

I love the color and I love the shading, but it crusts and clogs my (flex) nibs so I have stopped using it. I am looking for a better behaved replacement and am open to any suggestions!

I've had some gunk coming out from the nib with this ink too, but so far it hasn't clogged any pens. An annoying feature nevertheless. But the wonderful colour compensates for this!

Thanks Iranna, it has been corrected now. On my screen, it looks similar to the colour however it may be due to the fact that different screens show different colours. It is not too light to use, I feel, although I wouldn't use it to make my uni notes. Instead I'd use it as a substitute to red.

I've just started using it so I don't know about clogging but I'll update once I find out.

with all due respect, vistafan, your scan doesn't do this ink justice. this is truly a beautiful and vibrant color.

about the "gunk" thing, some diamine inks do that a lot (e.g. blue-black), but i never had any problems with any clogging the feed.

thx for the review, vistafan!

It is a lovely color and I use it to draw. But for me this ink is too bright to write with and makes reading uncomfortable. Thank you for the review. Gigi

Great review! This is such a bright and cheerful colour. I love using it with my oranges and and browns in autumn - such a lovely bright contrast to some of the more muted tones.

I love the color for markup. For me it's nowhere near as yellowish as the scan appears on my monitor, but a very well-balanced bright green. Unfortunately, I too have the problem with crusting and clogging. Every pen I've tried it in, if I leave it for more than a day or two without writing, it looks like the nib has grown moss. No other Diamine ink does this in my pens. I'm thinking of trying the new Diamine Meadow, but I'd like to get a sample to make sure it looks right and works OK before I buy a whole bottle.

Great review with a very nice and bright color. Now, this ink is now included in my wish list.

Thanks for sharing. Regards

Thanks everyone! It really is a great ink; I only have a 30ml bottle but will be replacing it with an 80ml bottle when it runs out :)

It is a beautiful green and I suspect that will also become a favorite of mine. I enjoy very much the review, thanks. I´m waiting my Pilot 78 double broad to arrive.

It is. :) This is a older review from 2011. There are more recent ones, I also reviewed it last February. Diamine Kelly Green

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
