Hello everybody,

can someone of you told me which are the difference from the Duofold Centennial and the Duofold International and if there are some particular to distinguish them from a photo?

Thanks for your attention and for the answer.

Here are the two sizes (with a scale and a Parker "51" for references)

I am not informed on all the various models and markings and numbers and sizes of cap rings and such of all the different years for these.

You'll have to await an expert for that information

It's hard to tell which size a pen is even when seen in person unless you have a sample of each for comparison. The length difference is only about .5 cm. The easiest thing I've found is looking at the ratio of length to width. The Centennial has a ratio of 10 while the International is about 9. The international looks long but slim while the Centennial look fatter.

If I can see the nib I compare the length of the nib to the length of the black nib holder/section, on the International they are roughly the same length and on the Centennial the proportions are quite different, the nib is noticeably longer than the section and appears to have longer tines. I also use the thickness of the body compared to the total length of the pen method, as jar said the Centennial looks chunkier.

Just looking at the photos I'd say the white pen is a Centennial and the red an International. [i own an International and bought it because it is the slimmed down version of the Centennial. That said, I wouldn't mind owning a Centennial as well.......:)]
