I love the same type's. And I REALLY like Iroshizuku Kon-peki. A little pricy, but so nice IMHO.

Ditto on that -- to me, it's the ideal cerulean blue. And well behaved in all pens so far and on different papers. YMMV, of course.

Iroshizuku Kon-peki has no competition in my mind.

Well, I wasn't going to say it, but... no doubt in my mind either. Kon-peki is DA BOMB!!!!!!!

Kon-Peki is great, it's what I'm using now actually. But I'm really loving Lamy Turquoise, the broader the nib, the deeper the blue. At least that's been my experience, YMMV.

Sorry, but it just looks like it has to be Kon-Peki. I love it too! :)

See my review here. :D

Need a pen repaired or a nib re-ground? I'd love to help you out.

Diamine Asa Blue is very similar to PR Tropical Blue. I have both inks. I also have PR Naples Blue and it is also very close.

EDIT: I also have Noodler's Midway Blue which is close too!

Well, Diamine Florida Blue is supposed to be the non Limited Edition version of Diamine Tropical Blue- so I'm curious what Asa Blue looks like

Kon Peki- is that similar to Pilot Petit 1 Cobalt Blue?

I have a scan of it but it's not color corrected and looks off on my monitor. If I had to describe it, I would say it is a dark teal color.

Cerulean.... I'm thinking paints. J Herbin Bleu Azur?

It's lighter than these others. If you want darker, Bleu Pervenche.

Hi,

Things get pretty tricky in that part of the colour wheel, where density (light-dark) plays a great role in an ink's perceived colour.

I agree with Sailor Jentle Sky High and Pilot kon-peki as being very close to the wiki version of that colour. Those inks were compared here: https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php?/topic/196112-comparison-sailor-jentle-sky-high-pilot-kon-peki/

The Herbin Azure is an interesting ink: extremely pale & transparent, hence very susceptible to the paper base-tint altering the colour. A good pick when using wet writers / absorbent papers. Also good for fine-tuning a mix.

One other not mentioned is the Sailor Jentle 'Light Snow' https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=135546 ; and going by the name 'yuki akari' https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php?/topic/145616-sailor-yuki-akari/ - that IR has some interesting comparison swabs. The ink was a '09 LE, but was not so popular - so might be found by query. IIRC The Writing Desk had it listed quite recently.
