The Platinum Preppy Highlighter pen works pretty well with this ink. It lays down a very wet line, but it dries rather quickly and doesn't smear when dry. Honestly, I was very surprised that it didn't bleed or smear for the water test. This would not be very good for use with thin paper or things that have double-sided text, just because the bleed-through pretty severe. But, besides that, I am very satisfied with this ink.

Great review! I realy like the Noodler's Highlighting inks. I have a Sunrise bottle (3oz) and it has been lasting too long.

Have you tried actually writing with it out of FP (perhaps medium or broad?) I would like to see what it looks like to actually write with this ink instead of highlighting? Also interested in the same thing with their blue highlighting ink......

Just curious.

Now if only Noodler's would make a refillable dry-erase marker, I would buy a lifetime supply....

Once I empty out my stub 78G, I'll load it up with St. Patty's and post some pictures.

Have you tried it on Rhodia or Clairefontaine paper?

I wanted to know if it bleeds through these papers too...

Also, is it as fluorescent as the Yellow highlighter inks by Noodlers?

It feathers only on lower-bidder papers. With Rhodia papers it feathers with medium, but not fine nibs, and with Clairefontaine, not at all.

But one thing is not said; that we shall suffer from cowardice, from cravens or the fear of cravens.
