Posse Friday night at hotel? What should I bring? I know Ricky drinks ink.

 

I think he prefers Iroshizuku vintage 2009. Showing up with a six pack of Quink would be like bringing Two Buck Chuck ... just not done.

I suppose it's a matter of semantics. When I alchemize fines into broads, it's by the drop method.

I am writing with bad news today: as I feared might happen, I won't be able to attend the upcoming San Francisco Pen Show. I had so looked forward to meeting all of you, sharing pens, drinking, trashing hotel rooms, but it just wasn't meant to be (this time).

 

I hope that, at some point in the future, we'll be able to hook up. I know I'll visit the Bay area some day soon, and if it is within the goodness of your collective hearts, it would be completely super-fun to arrange a meeting of the Posse. I'll most assuredly get the first round.

 

Ok, that's it. I won't be able to read this thread in another day or so, because reading about all the fun will make me completely super-sad, and I'll just wallow in cheap ink.

Just wait till the LA show in February. Many of us will come down for that show.

 

 

Couldn't possibly phrase my regrets so eloquently, so I won't even try. My SF pen show money went to a dentist, an attorney and a biologist - so I too have had to scrap my plans to join the fun. :crybaby:

 

It will have to be Los Angeles...
