Help Identifying Please

Hi guys,

I hope you can help. My Dad has been collecting Sheaffer pens for some time, and has recently acquired two pens which he cannot identify. I would be very grateful if any of you could shed some light on these. I have attached a photo each of them, unfortunately they're not the best as i've misplaced my camera.

All feedback is welcome.

Many thanks in advance

Hi Laura,

The first looks like a Stylist from the clip and the second a Lady Sheaffer from pre- 1972.

Hugh

Yeah, definitely a Stylist-lookin' clip, but what's up with that nib? I thought Sheaffer only did the two-sided and the small Triumph nibs on the Stylist.

And Laura, could you tell us what the imprint on the barrel of the first one says? It might help a bit. Well, it probably won't help me, but someone more knowledgeable might glean something from it.

I think it's a later model Stylist, that type of nib places it 1972 or later. The same style of nib was also used in the Lady Sheaffers from '72.

Well, I'll be... I've never even seen a picture of the Stylist with that later nib before. Still, if only for uniqueness, I prefer my two-sided to either the Triumph or this one.

Thanks, Hugh.

Hi,

My guess is the nib units could have been swapped over on the two pens?

Cheers
