i made some with 1 part parker permanent green(the old kind with solv-x), 1 part sheaffer blue. it looks similar to the text in my signature. the flowing-and-bleeding-like-crazy properties of the quink disappear after being mixed with the sheaffer. very well behaved mix, i'll need to make some more of it!

Noodler's Squeateague

Levenger True Teal

oh. I forgot about squeteague. It's gorgeous.

+1 on squeteague. Darker than Tsuki-yo and behavior better too.

+ 1 on Iroshizuku tsuki-yo. I just inked a new (to me) M800 with Mottishawed OBB nib, and it shades wonderfully! Really nice, smooth line, good flow, decent drying time. Tsuki-yo is definitely a keeper, especially in the blue-green category.

Noodler's Navy is a nice blue/teal color, not at all what I expected from it's name, but it is rapidly becoming one of my favorites. I have had no problems with feathering, but it can be a little light in fine or dryish nib.

+1 on Navy.

First choice is Noodler's Air-Corp Blue Black as it has not only the color but also wonderful water resistance and tends to a very crisp line.

Second choice (and only second because of the water-resistance issue) is Private Reserve Ebony Blue.

Don't let the names fool you. These are both (to my eye) dark blue-green inks (and rather heavy on the green, at that).

Private Reserve Ebony Green is a favorite.

I'm looking for a beautiful dark blue-green. As little feathering as possible! What are your favorites?

Private Reserve Naples Blue/Bexley Turquoise would be a good choice.

Noodler's Squeteague is a great color that fits your description.

My experience is that it takes FOREVER to dry, though.

I don't think anyone has mentioned Diamine Blue Black yet, though a bunch of other Diamines have been cited.

Definite green tones with the blue. At first I had no clue why they named it Blue Black.

Ditto on the Iroshizuku Tsuki-Yo. it's a lovely color, kinda a greenish blue-black. Or maybe it's a blackish blue green. Expensive, but so far it's worked beautifully in every pen I've loaded it up with, from fine to broad nibs, and works well on a wide range of papers from bad to good.

+1. Great ink.

Diamine Teal-Green with a hint of blue

Diamine Twilight-my favorite blue-green

Noodler's Aircorp Blue-Black-one of the best behaved inks I've ever used, but a bit too green for my tastes

Noodler's Legal Lapis-the drier the nib, the greener it looks

I just thought I'd point out that while there is plenty of support here for Legal Lapis, I find that it feathers more than any other ink I've used and has a habit of bleeding and show-through on lower quality paper.

While I do use LL regularly, the colour is not as exciting as some of the other alternatives posted in this thread.

I have no problems with it feathering, etc.

Turns out I'm not the only one who likes Diamine Teal, glad to see it's just underused instead of underappreciated.

+1 for Diamine Teal. Very nice and well behaved ink, although personally I'm not big fan of blue-greens...
