I have settled in on using a few great writers and am ready to reduce my holdings a bit. Good prices here because I am just wanting to clear some stuff out. Up for sale are some great writers and a few unique specimens:

The first three are Esterbrook Icicles, late models with "USA Esterbrook" on the clip. I don't believe these pens have been used at all (with the exception of me dipping the red one). They came from a department store in the Murfreesboro, TN area and two of them still have the dept. store stickers on them ("Hargrove $3.00"):

1. Blue; 9461 nib. $40

2. Red; wonderful 9788 nib. $55

3. Green; 9556. $40

I will sell all three for $120

4. Parker 51 vac; black and gold; gold clutch ring; WONDERFUL writer, working condition; fine nib. $75

5. Sheaffer (Admiral I think; it has been a while since I checked). Wonderful writer; cursive italic with about a .7 mm (I think; goes from a fine to a medium width). Filling system works great. $35 SALE PENDING

6. Varuna Rajan from AllWriteNow; two-tone steel German nib in fine; converter installation. Nice, BIG pen in Ebonite. $45 SOLD

7. Waterman 58 with cracked Hundred Year Pen nib that still writes well. Needs refurbishing (no sac or pressure bar) and TLC, but a rare pen. $50 SOLD

8. Sheaffer OS Brown Striated; WONDERFUL smooth nib; visulated section ambered; lever a bit floppy (newer pressure bar) and has a hairline crack in butt of barrel that is not at all noticeable and is very stable. engraving has been sanded out but turned just right in the light and its 'ghost' can be seen--again not normally noticeable. Great pen and great writer. $120

9. Bexley (I forget the name of the model). Very dependable, good writer. Steel nib. $40 SOLD

First PM gets the pen; you can email me at gguthrie@uu.edu. Shipping and Handling is $5 for US and $8 for international. Shipments to a US address are insured. International shipments not insured. I can't guarantee delivery internationally but have only had one pen go missing through the years. Thanks for taking a look.

Damn, I missed this one! You wouldn't have another one of these icicles with USA clips lying around? Green, blue or grey???

Nope. Sorry. The person who bought the first one wrote back to buy the other two once she saw the condition.

Thanks for asking.

Received the Black Sheaffer Snorkel yesterday. Pen looks great. George was very helpful and easy to deal with.

Thanks,

Dan
