I tried a little smudging with a damp finger.... it's a very tipsy cup. http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5214/5507578966_55a6dd0893.jpg

Here's one from a few years ago. Lamy Safari EF, W&N black ink for FPs, black watercolor for wash.

I stopped using the W&N inks (which were once my favorites) after I found Noodler's inks. I guess I'll have to make a new one with Noodler's, my new favorite.

Here's my humble mug.

Drawn with a flex dip nib and manuscript calligraphy sepia fountain pen ink.

[Edited to resize horrendously large picture.]

My favorite pen? Favorite ink? Sure... well... today, anyway. ;-)

Nothing fancy here... just two sizes of sketches with my Conklin Crescent filler with wet noodle #2 nib. The ink is Noodler's El Lawrence. The paper is Clairefontaine GraF it 90g.

The first sketch is just 3/4 inch high. I made it small so the line widths would be the shading.

The second sketch is 2 1/2 inches high.

This nib glides over this paper like skating on fresh ice. It's so slippery, it is a struggle just directing the lines, so even though the treatment isn't especially edgy, I enjoyed plenty of risk just drawing them at all. :D

If you think everything is going well... you obviously have no idea what is really going on!
