Sheaffer Skrip Blue-Black Review

Comparing this one my Parker Quink Blue I believe that it is not washable as well. (I used a highlighter over both the inks and the Quink faded already while the Skrip is still readable)

Let me ask you guys something else. This is the first non washable Ink I've used, and I can see that compared to the washable Parker Quink, this one almost doesn't feather. Is this related to the fact that it is a non washable ink? Can I find a good washable Ink that doesn't feather?

Thanks.

Bottled Waterman blue ink behaves itself on the page and doesn't feather.

I notice that this ink flows really heavily from my Pelikan m200 - but that everything except for Pelikan ink flows pretty heavily from my m200. This ink feathered and flowed really heavily on cheap paper. Has anyone else had unpleasant experiences with this Sheaffer ink on cheap legal pads? (It does seem to be better, though still quite wet on my nice composition notebooks.)

I discovered an old bottle - in the old bottle - and finally suceeded in unscrewing the lid. Doesn't look much like a lid now ...

Anyway, I put it into a Pelikan M200 too, F steel nib, and have tested it on Aurora 60 gsm paper. The Aurora paper obviously has quite a lot of see-through, but somehow the manufacturer avoided bleed-through, quite an achievement on such affordable paper.

I see no feathering, quite a wide line though. No bleed-through on the Aurora paper.

It reminds me very much of Rohrer & Klingner "Verdigris", slightly less saturated perhaps, and a bit more shading. Slightly differently greenish.

I think I'll acquire a new bottle to see if anything has changed.
