Jim Woodring's Giant Steel-Dip Pen Update

An update on Jim Woodring's seven-foot steel dip pen project: here.

The link is a BoingBoing article that has a youtube video about the nib and some pretty awesome pictures. Apparently Woodring will be doing a demonstration next week in Seattle - anyone local should check it out (and post pictures)!

Apologies if this has already been posted today; I did a quick search and didn't see anything after September, so I thought I'd start a new thread.

(Edited for clarification.)

Wow! I'd love to see that. Jim Woodring is one of my husband's favorite artists. How did I not know about this before?

If it was anyone else, I'd probably think it was some gimmick, but Woodring is a genius. We will never know what possessed him to do this.

+1! I'd love to see it in person, but alas—wrong coast. I can only hope someone there takes good video.

keeping an eye out for: a vintage ED with a battered body but a superflex+ nib...and more M640s. ;)
