What Is The Pelikan Souveran?

Other 600 colors went much later in the mid 90s.

I even doubt a tortoise M600 ever existed.

The striated green M600 was in fact introduced in 1990. Please see the reply from Pelikan above.

Thanks, I skipped your post in replying!

Too bad they did not mention the burgundy M600.

The only answer that surprise me is the 1988 as introduction of the duotone nib. I placed that with the introduction of the greenstriped version because I never found a black M600 with the WGer and the bicolor nib.

daenghafez did not suggest that a tortoise M600 ever existed, but asked if the brochure included reference to a

tortoise M800, in addition to information about the release of the M600. It was a little ambiguous

Ops! Thank you for pointing that out.

Cheers,

I have a black M600 marked W-Germany, no souverän stamping, two cap bands and one filler knob band, and what I would have described as a tri-color 18 C nib (gold tip and center with silver between).

None of the Souverän pens had that model designation on the cap until 1997, apparently.

I suspect that your M600 nib would be described as a bi-colour, but we're all learning
