Wood 'n Dreams? (the Old Wndpens.com)

Once upon a time in a quiet neighborhood in Burlington Vermont there lived a man, Ray Adams, who turned some very nice wooden fountain pens as well as being a distributor for several other lines.

 

The web site (wndpens.com) still exists but seems to now be another business face of Lanier Pens in California. Anyone know what happened? I was sort of assuming he sold the business (or at least name) to Jim Lanier and moved on, but solid information is scant.

 

Note that this is a different Ray Adams then the fellow who runs Niche Pens in the UK. (Nothing against Niche Pens, though, they're also first class.)

 

Thanks for any info, and if you have any of Ray's old pens that you don't love I'll happily give them a loving home!

I have not heard the name Wood'n Dreams for a long while. I vaguely recall they used to advertize on either Pentrace or its predecessor IkonPen. I had assumed them to be out of business, but I have no idea how that came about. I am interested to see if anyone has that information.

I bought my DaniTrio Madame Butterfly from Ray, way back when he was a rep for this company. I hope he is OK. I still love this pen - it has special connections for me.

I purchased Ray's full inventory when he closed down and then heard from him once or twice after that but then never again. Not sure what happened to him. Cheers, BOB
