Tried The Sensa Fountain Pen

Hey everyone! I just got receipt of my new Sensa fountain pen with a medium nib. I have not yet inked it, but I'm looking forward to seeing what the writing experience will be like with it. As you may be aware, the Sensa pen has the cushiony grip that is very comfortable to write with. I saw it on this website/ www.goldspot.com / when looking for a pen to buy as a gift for a friend who had broken his Sensa ballpoint pen. Anyhow, just thought I'd throw that out there. So far I like how it feels, but the combination of fountain pen and Sensa comfort should be interesting. The M nib looks rather springy, too. Take care.

I owned one for awhile, but gave it to my ex. It performed pretty well, but I had many issues of skipping and not starting. But, I was new to the fountain pen world, so there could have been a simple fix to the problem, but I did not pursue it.

Please, let us know what you think, I would be delighted to know if i might have gotten a dud.

I often use my Sensa for grading papers, when I am likely to be gripping hard (in the agony of seeing how little my students understood) for a long time. I do have skipping problems with it; usually use Scrip Red. Right now it has Diamine Pumpkin in it (from the October Ink Drop) and has been working well.

"I'm sorry, I don't let anyone borrow my pen."
