Sensa Pens What A Wonderful Surprise

I bought a Sensa FP at the TPS on saturday and I am very happily surprised with the pen.

Its a basic pen but not a "school/student pen".

 

Sensa's special finger rest pad is so unique and the nib - Yammm

 

Anyone else has any experience with Sensa pens ?

I have heard good things about Sensa FPs. Glad you were able to snag one, I don't think they are being produced anymore.

I traded for one here in the FPN a month or two ago and I love it. Odd size and shape, but a wonderful writer. Mine is a :

They have stopped making them from what I've read, and I have to say I'm sorry to hear it, a great writer for under $100.

Same as my pen, what a shame they dont make this pen anymore.

Its so different and unique yet a great writer.

Do they have the same grip as a Sensa ballpoint? I won't buy a fountain pen with a rubberized section, because I know it won't last, and the same would go double for a gel cushion. (Of course, if Sensa has stopped making them, then they've successfully avoided the risk of offending me .)

Sorry to say, consider yourself offended. The rubberized grip is (was) still present on the Sensa I have.

I understand what turns you off about this pen but I personally think that this is actually what make this pen stand out and unique compared to other pens and frankly its very comfortable but thats my taste.

Great another pen to add to the list!! Before I came to my senses and started using-collecting fountain pens, my daily carry was a series of Sensa ball points. I like the grip and thanks to the death grip it takes for me to write with a bp, the Sensa was the best choice for me. I would not hesitate to give it a try! the only thing about Sensa is that the difference between their high end pens and the low end is dramatic!! Nothing is even close. The low end pens are horrible. If they used high end materials for the fountain pen then it should be a good pen.

Sorry, guys, but I have to agree with Brian. I would not trust the durability of a gel section. I have tried several Sensa BP's, and find the section to be annoying in its "squishiness." The section also does not allow me to control the pen well, so my penmanship suffers. I guess not every pen can be for everyone.

I have the silver Sensa Meridian, and I love that pen. It is so comfortable to write with, and the nib is great.
